Personal Trainer

I have been a Fitness Professional for almost 14 years!  I began working out (and was put on a program by a trainer) as a 17-year old high school senior.  I was immediately hooked, and it ended up helping me turn my life around!  I was anorexic, and through strength training I became empowered and wanted to become a healthier person.  I began college unsure of what to do with my future, but it didn't take long for it to become clear!  I attained my first Personal Training certification in May of 1995, along with a Sports Nutrition certification.  I attained my second Personal Training certification in 1999.  I graduated with my BS in Exercise Science from Texas Tech University in August of 1999.  I worked as an assistant at the IDEA World Fitness Conference in July 1999.  I became certified through The Pilates Coach in 2006.  In 2009, I will be adding either RKC or AOS-Certified to this list (kettlebells)!$0

Biography

$0I am passionate about my role as a fitness professional!  I love what I do, and have over thirteen years experience in educating, motivating, and guiding people of all ages and abilities on their way towards better health.  I have worked with the entire spectrum of individuals - from inexperienced exercisers, to teenage athletes, to seniors, to those seeking improved recovery after undergoing physical therapy.  $0 $0 $0 $0People enlist the help of fitness professionals because they want results, plain and simple.  Those results may mean body fat loss, recovery from injury, improved self-concept, increased strength, or a stronger more stable core.  The results you seek may be something completely different!  Results are specific to each individual, and are brought about through planning.  Goal-setting is imperative in any exercise program.  After all, why put forth the time and effort when you don’t get anything in return?  My job is to help you to set attainable, realistic goals and then follow through with a plan of action to reach them. $0 $0 $0 $0As it was once said, “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”  Set a goal, work towards it, and realize your potential!  $0
